WHY IS THIS COURSE GOOD FOR YOUR ART?
In the context of general painting techniques and skills you will learn the following:-
Working in different mediums teaches us how to see the benefits of each one and enhances our understanding on all mediums. Fabric paint moves and flows into the weave and so we must learn to ‘go with the flow’ and loosen our painting. This is a hugely enjoyable course that also teaches us about colour and design.
The 3 day course is suitable for complete beginners or those with art experience.
All materials are provided and you will leave with 2 lampshades ready to put up at home. As with all our courses, the subject is a vehicle for learning different artistic skills that build our technical tool kit. Do bring a sketchbook if you have one. There are a limited number of artisan wooden bases here that you can purchase if you wish to, at cost.
Suitable for complete beginners and those who have painted before and wish to rekindle their desire to paint again and brush up on the basic techniques. No drawing skills required.
Coffee, cake and a delicious home cooked, healthy lunch with wine are included.
Arrive from 9.30am, for coffee before a 10am start. The day finishes at 4.30pm.
The safety of all our students and staff is of the utmost priority. All health and safety measures are in place including:-
